Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Ophthalmic Scribe to support our physicians across six Valley locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys traveling between sites, and is passionate about patient care and accuracy in medical documentation.

The Ophthalmic Scribe works closely with providers to document patient encounters in real time, ensuring accurate and efficient charting while allowing the physician to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR in real time
• Assist physicians during patient exams and clinical procedures
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of medical records
• Prepare exam rooms and support clinic flow as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
• Travel to multiple clinic locations throughout the Valley based on provider schedules
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

Qualifications

• Previous medical scribe or ophthalmic experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Strong typing and computer skills (EMR experience a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between six locations
• Flexibility with scheduling based on clinic needs
