Medical Scribe (Pre-Health Opportunity)

Our office has over 15 years of experience hiring pre-health students—including pre-medical, pre-nursing, and pre-optometry candidates—as entry-level medical scribes. Many of our former employees have gone on to gain admission to highly competitive graduate and professional programs after gaining valuable clinical experience with us.

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative team player with strong communication skills. No prior clinical experience is required—this position provides hands-on training in a fast-paced medical office environment and is ideal for candidates pursuing careers in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake and perform diagnostic testing
• Serve as a medical scribe during patient visits
• Coordinate surgery scheduling and manage medical supply orders
• Assist with in-office procedures, including surgical support and instrument sterilization
• Perform administrative tasks such as:
• Answering phone calls
• Verifying insurance eligibility
• Requesting authorizations
• Communicating with pharmacies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant pre-health coursework
• Availability to commit to a minimum of one year
• Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and reliability
• Excellent communication and typing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
