Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant to join our team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to support clinical operations, enhance patient care, and develop skills in medical documentation and office management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities, medical knowledge, and a passion for assisting patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure precise documentation of medical visits.
  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as preparing examination rooms, taking vital signs, and managing medical supplies.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with privacy regulations and institutional policies.
  • Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling patient inquiries professionally.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate effective communication within the clinical team.
  • Assist during emergency situations by following established protocols and supporting the medical staff as needed.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of clinical areas to uphold safety standards and promote a welcoming environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in transcription with excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Prior experience working in a medical office setting with familiarity using EMR system A MUST.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation standards.
  • Ability to manage medical records efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures including appointment scheduling and patient communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail to ensure precise recordkeeping and smooth clinic operations.
