Join our dynamic Neurosurgery Practice as a Part-Time Medical Scribe, where your expertise will directly enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care. In this vital role, you will work alongside a healthcare provider to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring seamless communication and record-keeping. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical documentation.

Medical Scribe duties and responsibilities

• Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system.
• Learning about the medical process and using a team approach in patient
• supervision and documentation.
• Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records.
• Completing all administrative tasks efficiently and helping the Physician Discharge patients from room with instructions and orders.
• Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized.

Skills needed:

• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and equipment used in medical
• practice.
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with an aggressive work ethic
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records system)
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a MUST

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
