Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

Premier Allergy, Asthma, & Sinus Care is seeking a hardworking, dedicated and reliable Medical Scribe to join our practice. This is a unique opportunity to work and grow with a professional team in our fast-paced, expanding outpatient allergy clinic.

• Monday- Friday availability required
• Medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits available
• Full-time position
• Lincoln Park and Loop offices (main locations); will require occasional travel to satellite offices
• Some light evening hours will be required

Essential Functions/Tasks of the position include:

• Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
• Assist the provider in writing consultation letters regarding a patient’s case
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Effectively manage stress in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
• Monitor lab and radiology order results
• Navigate our electronic medical record and internal systems
• Provide other administrative support as necessary, including research and reports
• Additional administrative tasks may apply

Requirements:

• Ability to type over 40 WPM

*Previous scribe experience preferred*

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
