Medical Transcriptionist

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe medical reports dictated by physicians and healthcare professionals. The role requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, excellent typing skills, and strict adherence to confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical reports including OPD notes, discharge summaries, operative notes, and diagnostic reports
• Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and completeness
• Ensure timely submission of medical documents
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and HIPAA standards
• Coordinate with doctors for clarification when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Medical Transcription preferred
• Prior experience as a Medical Transcriptionist is an advantage
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Word and hospital information systems
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
