Medication Technician

Medication Technician

Fountain Court Senior Living, located in Maple Valley, Washington is actively seeking Medication Technicians to join our team.

Certified Medication Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing/delivering medications for residents

  • Administering various types of medication throughout the day

  • Recording every dose of medication administered

  • Observing residents to look for changes

  • Notifying nurses about changes or medical issues with residents

  • Following all safety protocols

Certified Medication Technician skills and qualifications:

  • Must have an HCA/CNA license and meet the state's specific certification requirements (required), Valid First aid and CPR certification, Valid Food Handlers' Card.

  • A minimum of six (6) months relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)

  • Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff

  • Ideal candidate will be caring, organized and able to multi-task.

  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and conditions

  • Ability to prepare medication doses accurately

  • Strong problem-solving skills

Available open shifts.

1. AM med tech - 6:00am - 2:30pm

2. PM med tech - 2:00pm-10:30pm

3. NOC med tech - 10:00pm - 6:30am
