Membership Director/Social Media Creator

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and innovative Membership Director/Social Media Creator to lead our community engagement efforts and elevate our brand presence across digital platforms. In this dynamic role, you will develop and implement strategies to grow membership, foster meaningful relationships, and craft compelling content that resonates with our audience. Your creativity and strategic mindset will drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and support our organizational goals through vibrant social media campaigns and targeted outreach initiatives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our community narrative while honing your skills in digital marketing, content creation, and relationship management.

Duties/Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in member/guest relations, marketing, or a closely related field
  • Experience in a private club, hospitality, or luxury service environment a strong plus
  • Flexibility to attend and support evening and weekend events as part of the role's programming responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and personalities with ease
  • Exceptional written communication skills; you write with warmth, clarity, and attention to tone
  • Demonstrated social media expertise — you know what performs, what resonates, and what reflects a brand beautifully
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools for creating polished digital content
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content including graphics, videos, photography, blog posts, and promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Utilize social media management applications such as Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule posts, analyze performance metrics with Google Analytics and Web Analytics tools, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Coordinate public relations efforts by crafting press releases, managing media inquiries, and building partnerships with local organizations or influencers.
  • Organize photography sessions or video editing projects to produce high-quality visual content that elevates the organization’s online presence.
  • Proven experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns
  • Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail; ability to craft compelling narratives that align with organizational voice.
  • Membership aspect is touring prospective members, membership reporting, new member orientation
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
