Membership Advisor/Sales Consultant

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour + Up to 5% commission on sales on memberships, class packs, and retail items
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Are you passionate about fitness and thrive in a high-energy sales environment? Body Fit Training (BFT) Sunnyvale is looking for a motivated Membership Advisor/Sales Consultant to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, driven, and ready to help grow our community through lead generation, outreach, and closing sales.

What You’ll Do:

Sales & Lead Conversion: Engage with prospects, overcome objections, and close membership sales through calls, in-person consultations, and follow-ups.
Lead Generation: Actively seek new leads through networking, community outreach, and attending local events. Must be willing to make 30+ calls per day.
Tabling & Event Marketing: Represent BFT at pop-up events, wellness fairs, and strategic partnerships to increase brand awareness and drive memberships.
Social Media Engagement: Assist in promoting the studio through social media channels by creating engaging content and responding to inquiries.
Customer Service: Build strong relationships with potential and current members, ensuring they have an exceptional experience from inquiry to onboarding.
Studio Support: Assist with daily studio operations, including giving tours, answering questions, and helping with member check-ins.

What We’re Looking For:

Sales-Driven Mindset: Experience in membership sales, retail sales, or a similar customer-facing role is a plus.
Strong Communication Skills: Confident and persuasive communicator who can build rapport quickly.
Resilience & Tenacity: Comfortable handling objections and following up consistently to close deals.
Event & Marketing Experience: Comfortable doing in-person lead generation at events and networking opportunities.
Social Media Savvy: Basic knowledge of social media marketing and content creation is a plus.
Passion for Fitness: A love for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
