Mental Health Therapist

Our mental health services began in 2017 and have since expanded to children and families throughout Omaha. Release also describes a holistic, relational approach that combines evidence-based practice with kindness, respect, trauma-informed care, and cultural responsiveness.

We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist who wants to do meaningful clinical work with children, teens, and families while being part of a supportive, purpose-driven team. In this role, you will provide outpatient therapy in office, community, and hybrid settings; help children and caregivers move toward safety, healing, and stability; and contribute to a clinical culture grounded in accountability, forgiveness, compassion, and strong professional practice.

What you will do

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for children, teens, and families
• Deliver services in office and community settings, with hybrid flexibility as appropriate
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation in a timely and compliant manner
• Partner with caregivers, internal team members, schools, referral sources, and other providers to coordinate care
• Use strong clinical judgment in crisis situations, safety planning, and referrals to higher levels of care when needed
• Participate in weekly supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

What you will bring

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related clinical field
• Trauma-informed experience working with youth and families, especially those facing complex stressors or system involvement
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to manage a steady caseload while maintaining clinical quality and documentation standards
• Flexibility to work some late afternoons, evenings, or weekends based on client need
• Nebraska-eligible clinical licensure

Pay: $58,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
