MEP CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer with a strong background in execution of villa projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site, ensuring timely and quality execution in accordance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute all MEP works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting) as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, civil engineers, and subcontractors for smooth site execution.
• Review and interpret MEP shop drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality, ADDC, ADCD, and Estidama standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and update project management accordingly.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks for MEP installations.
• Manage manpower and material resources to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP execution, with at least 2-3 villa projects completed in Abu Dhabi or UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local codes and authority approvals (ADDC, ADM, ADCD, QCC, Estidama).
• Excellent understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• UAE driving license is a plus.
