MEP Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced and proactive MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities for building construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that MEP works are executed in line with approved drawings, project schedules, quality standards, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all MEP activities across multiple disciplines on site
• Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Ensure proper interface and coordination between MEP and civil/architectural works
• Monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Identify and resolve clashes, design issues, and site coordination challenges
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders for approvals and technical clarifications
• Attend coordination meetings and prepare progress and technical reports
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator on building projects
• Mandatory experience handling individual projects independently
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, coordination processes, and local authority requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
