MEP Coordinator

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting works at site. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all MEP activities with civil and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and verify MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Identify design conflicts and resolve MEP clashes before execution.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, and Firefighting systems.
• Monitor subcontractors’ progress and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all materials used are approved as per project requirements.
• Follow up on material submittals, method statements, MIR, IR, and authority approvals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control standards.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate testing & commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Attend technical meetings with consultants, clients, and project team.
• Support project manager in planning and scheduling MEP activities.
• Ensure timely completion of MEP works as per project schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction projects (site-based role).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting systems.
• Experience in UAE/GCC projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:

• AutoCAD knowledge (mandatory).
• Experience in high-rise/building projects is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team coordination ability.
