MEP Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator with strong knowledge in building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works to ensure smooth execution of project activities in line with project specifications, drawings, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all MEP activities on site.
• Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements before submission to the consultant.
• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors to ensure timely and proper execution of work.
• Work closely with civil, structural, and architectural teams to resolve clashes and site issues.
• Monitor installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Attend site coordination meetings and progress meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare and follow up RFI, MIR, and inspection requests.
• Monitor project progress and ensure MEP activities meet the project schedule.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense).
• Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in planning and execution of works.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained on site.
• Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation at project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years UAE experience in building construction projects.
• Experience working with Main Contractors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 17,000 – AED 20,000 per month (based on experience)
Benefits: As per UAE Labour Law.
