MEP Designer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and design MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) systems in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Prepare and review detailed design drawings, schematics, and layouts for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and material selection as per project requirements.
• Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and construction stages.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with approved design.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion.
• Stay updated with local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Emaar, DEWA, etc.) and ensure all designs meet approval requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design-related queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an MEP Designer in construction or consultancy projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, local authority codes, and international standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design/drafting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
