MEP Draftsman

• Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and develop detailed MEP shop drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems) as per project standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in construction or contracting companies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, layouts, and coordination requirements.
• Familiar with UAE construction codes and standards (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, and civil engineers to avoid clashes and ensure integrated drawings.
• Review design drawings and identify discrepancies, technical issues, or conflicts.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site conditions and final installation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Maintain and update drawing registers, file records, and revisions.
• Work closely with project engineers and site teams for technical support and drawing clarification.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD/Revit or other drafting software as per company standards.
• Assist in material take-offs and quantity estimation from drawings.
• Attend coordination meetings when required to resolve design and drawing issues.
