MEP Draftsman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to join our building contracting company in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings in line with project requirements and UAE authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings
• Ensure compliance with UAE authorities (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.)
• Update drawings based on consultant, client, and site comments
• Support site teams with drawings and technical clarifications
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Drafting
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in the UAE
• Must be currently available in the UAE
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit MEP knowledge is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems
• Familiar with UAE codes, standards, and approval processes
• Experience with building contracting companies preferred
