MEP Draftsman

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in MEP drafting (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings
• Ability to coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams
• Familiarity with local authority standards and regulations (UAE experience preferred).
• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings
• Develop layouts for HVAC systems (ducting, chilled water), electrical systems (lighting, power), and plumbing & drainage
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts
• Update drawings based on site changes and engineer/client comments
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and local authority standards (e.g., UAE regulations)
• Assist engineers in design development and technical documentation
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and version control.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings and layouts
• Coordinate MEP services with other disciplines
• Update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

• Familiarity with DEWA / ADDC / SEWA standards
• Experience with authority submissions and approvals
• Experience in high-rise, commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical.
• 3–6 years of experience in MEP drafting.
