Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems in projects, with a special focus on documentation, coordination, and site execution to ensure smooth project delivery in accordance with design, codes, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Documentation Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain MEP-related documentation, including drawings, technical submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with design consultants and contractors to obtain and verify required documents.
- Maintain an organized document control system for easy retrieval of MEP-related documents.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of MEP documentation to consultants or authorities.
- Prepare O&M manuals and compliance documents for final handover.
MEP Works Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site.
- Coordinate between various MEP services to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure MEP work is carried out according to approved drawings and standards.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues in coordination with design and construction teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during MEP installations.
- Support procurement by reviewing and verifying material submittals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in MEP construction, preferably with a focus on documentation.
- Strong knowledge of MEP design standards, codes, and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and document management systems.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
