MEP Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned MEP site execution engineer to oversee and manage the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) components of our high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and must have successfully completed at least one comparable project involving the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems in a fast-paced high-rise environment. The role entails ensuring that all MEP installations are executed in accordance with approved design specifications and project timelines, while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing MEP drawings, schematics, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope and requirements
• Supervise and direct the installation of all MEP systems
• Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and applicable codes/standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to check the quality of materials, workmanship, and installations.
• Perform and witness all mandatory tests and maintain proper documentation.
• Track daily MEP work progress and report to the Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Enforce strict adherence to all company and site safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in the site execution of MEP systems, with 5 to 8 years of proven experience specifically in high-rise residential and commercial building projects.
• Possesses foundational proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, schematics
• Demonstrates strong team collaboration skills and a cooperative working style.
• Must be comfortable working at heights (high-rise construction sites).
