We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our projects. Responsibilities:
- System coordination: Coordinate with architects, Clients, and other design team members to ensure integration and compatibility of MEP systems with the overall project design.
- Technical calculations and analysis: Conduct technical calculations, load analysis, and energy efficiency assessments to optimize system performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Equipment selection: Specify and select appropriate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and materials based on project requirements, performance criteria, and cost considerations.
- Construction documentation: Prepare detailed MEP construction drawings, specifications, and technical submittals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Quality control: Make shop drawings, product submittals, and other project deliverables to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Project coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of MEP engineering deliverables and effective coordination of construction activities.
- On-site support: Provide technical support during construction, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise and offering guidance to contractors to ensure proper installation and functioning of MEP systems.
- Testing and commissioning: Oversee the testing, commissioning, and validation of MEP systems, ensuring functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
- Documentation and reporting: Prepare comprehensive project reports, including progress updates, technical evaluations, and final documentation, to facilitate effective communication and project closeout.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- Proven experience as an MEP Engineer, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Execution and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Ability to perform technical calculations and energy analysis using industry-standard software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy-efficient practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction processes and familiarity with construction site operations.
