MEP Engineer

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for interior fit-out projects. The role involves ensuring that all MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned according to project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs for fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with design teams, architects, and subcontractors to ensure proper MEP integration with interior works.
• Prepare shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for MEP systems.
• Plan and monitor MEP work schedules to meet project timelines.
• Supervise site installation activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, and safety codes.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for technical approvals and inspections.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MEP progress reports.
• Ensure proper testing and commissioning of all MEP services before project handover.
• Support the project team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit (optional), and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in commercial, retail, or office fit-out projects.
• Understanding of authority approval processes (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient MEP design principles.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
