MEP Engineer

MEP Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all MEP works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting) at site.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
• Coordinate between civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to avoid service conflicts.
• Supervise site installations to ensure compliance with project and safety standards.
• Prepare shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for approval.
• Monitor daily site progress, manpower, and materials.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, and subcontractors for project coordination.
• Support cost control, procurement, and material tracking processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• –10 years of experience in MEP contracting or building services.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, power distribution, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), MS Project, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IEC, and BS.
• Excellent project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
