MEP Engineer

• Conduct site survey to assess the MEP infrastructure for the identified sites.
• Recommend suitable design approvals for MEP infrastructure as per DIB standards and requirements.
• Liaise with Interior Design consultants/MEP consultants to develop design for MEP infrastructure.
• Review, comment and amend the design proposed by the MEP consultant.
• Development of design includes but not limited to the following: -
• Air condition layout,
• Electrical layout,
• Lighting layout including LUX calculations,
• Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting layouts,
• Water supply and Drainage layout.
• Review, comment and approve the design drawings, shop drawings, method statement, material specifications, material submittals and so on.
• Validate the Bill of Quantities, Specifications and the detailed drawings submitted by the consultant before sending into procurement for vendor appointment.
• Have thorough understanding of regulatory requirements such as Civil Defense, Municipality, etc.
• Have thorough understanding of ESG, LEED, Sustainability requirements, Energy efficiency and ISO 50001 and ensure these requirements are incorporated in the design.
