We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong MEP Engineer to manage a large-scale and technically complex project involving multiple fully integrated MEP systems.
This role combines both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines under one engineer. The selected candidate must be well-rounded, capable of handling system integration, resolving technical challenges, and leading MEP works independently.
The project includes Fire Alarm & Firefighting, CCTV, HVAC, BMS, Water Supply, Drainage, Plumbing, LPG systems, and full integration through BMS.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Technical Management
- Oversee all MEP activities on site (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).
- Review drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Manage integrated systems including HVAC, Fire Alarm, Firefighting, CCTV, BMS, Plumbing, LPG, Water Supply & Drainage.
- Ensure proper coordination of all systems connected through BMS.
- Lead technical discussions and resolve site issues proactively.
2. Coordination & System Integration
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure proper integration between mechanical, electrical, and ELV systems.
- Review and respond to RFIs, technical submittals, and shop drawings.
- Identify design gaps and provide technical solutions.
3. Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
4. Testing & Commissioning
- Lead testing and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.
- Ensure all systems operate properly and are fully integrated with BMS.
- Coordinate with authorities and consultants for inspections and approvals.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
- Track and manage RFIs and technical clarifications.
- Ensure as-built documentation and handover documentation are complete.
6. Problem Solving & Leadership
- Independently resolve technical and coordination issues.
- Provide guidance to site engineers and supervisors.
- Maintain strong control over quality, safety, and timelines.
- Work effectively under pressure in a technically challenging environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of MEP experience (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge in integrated MEP systems and BMS coordination
- Experience handling technically complex projects
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple systems and site challenges independently
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
