MEP Engineer

Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

6+ years of facility engineering experience; CFM, QCDD certifications are a a plus

UPDA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure reliability.

Manage facility improvement projects, including budgets and timelines.

Ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and environmental standards.

Lead and mentor engineering and maintenance teams.

Optimize energy use and implement sustainability initiatives.

Prepare and manage budgets; oversee procurement of equipment and supplies.

Develop emergency response plans and ensure backup system readiness.

Support tendering and procurement processes by preparing BOQs, technical evaluations, and scope clarifications.

Review and approve MEP design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications and codes.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design and execution compatibility.

Ensure adherence to local authority regulations (QCDD, Kahramaa, Ashghal, etc.) and international standards.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR9,500.00 per month
