Overview of the role:

To assume responsibility for and ensure the efficient technical operation and delivery of hard services and Engineering services for Cairo Festival City

What you will do:

• Ensure the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate efficiently and reliably to support uninterrupted shopping center operations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules; promptly address and resolve system faults or failures.
• Daily management of sub-contractors,consumables and equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly within overall project frameworks.
• Responsible for MEP engineering activities across projects of varying magnitude, from small-scale developments to large commercial and industrial facilities.
• Monitor and supervise installation and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Responsibility for management of the staff, training/ development.
• Work closely with facility management teams and provide training or guidance to Supervisors and technicians.
• Implements expected service standards to the staff and monitors them in terms of personal grooming, hygiene levels, communication skills and the service offered to guest with the objective of superior guest experience and ensuring that they appropriately representative of the staff standards of the Festival Centre. Arrange necessary training to maintain / improve standards.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with applicable codes, regulations, industry standards, and client specifications, maintaining quality and safety standards. prepare necessary report for management.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports; prepare regular operational reports for management.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports, with the objective of keeping the management informed about all issues relating to operations of mall and taking necessary action thereof.
• Monitor and optimize energy consumption of MEP systems to reduce operational costs and promote sustainability.
  
  

Required Skills to be successful:

2-4 years’ relevant experience in a shopping Centre/mall/hotel especially with some background in Civil Defense Service would be highly advantageous.

What equips you for the role:

• University Graduate in Engineering - Bilingual (English and Arabic speaking skills desirable)
• Mechanical Background is preferrable.
• Experience in facility management, maintenance planning, and safety protocols
