MEP Engineer – Electrical

• Project Execution & Supervision
• Plan, execute, and monitor electrical works (HT, LT, ELV, lighting, power distribution, cabling, earthing, etc.) in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and other engineering teams (mechanical, plumbing, civil).
• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, NBC, and other relevant codes/standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality workmanship as per approved drawings and standards.
• Prepare method statements, work procedures, and checklists.
• Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
• Work closely with site engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Attend progress meetings and update management on site progress.
• Safety & Documentation
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out with proper safety measures.
• Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Document material consumption, inspections, and as-built drawings.
• Material & Cost Control
• Prepare material requisitions and ensure timely availability of required items.
• Verify and certify contractor bills related to electrical works.
• Monitor project costs and minimize wastage.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing & commissioning.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of project management principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
