MEP Estimator (Electrical background)

We are seeking an experienced MEP Estimator with a strong electrical background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a variety of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for MEP works.
• Analyze project scope and identify potential risks, gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during the tendering process.
• Assist in bid submissions, budgeting, and cost control activities.
• Maintain estimation records, databases, and cost benchmarks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP estimation, with strong expertise in electrical systems.
• Sound knowledge of MEP materials, specifications, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
