MEP / HVAC Draftsman- Onsite / Remote

Candidzone is currently seeking an experienced MEP / HVAC Draftsman for a leading engineering consultancy client in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical drafting, BIM coordination, HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, fire protection systems, and multidisciplinary building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical design, shop, coordination, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
• Develop HVAC layouts, plumbing systems, drainage systems, fire protection systems, fuel systems, riser diagrams, and equipment layouts
• Extract 3D models for clash detection, schedule reviews, and quantity take-offs
• Ensure all drawings and deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM requirements, and quality standards
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design clashes
• Prepare schematic diagrams, installation details, schedules, and coordination drawings
• Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation
• Support BIM coordination and project delivery requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in building, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects
• Experience working on UAE/GCC projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and Revit
• Strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Protection, Fuel Systems, and other Mechanical Services
• Ability to set up and manage Revit project files
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and MEP coordination

Requirements:

• Consultancy experience preferred
• Strong technical drafting and coordination skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
