Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in healthcare facility design to join our MEP Design Team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, coordination, and technical delivery of mechanical systems for hospitals, clinics, and medical centers, ensuring compliance with international healthcare standards and best engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems for healthcare facilities.
- Prepare and review mechanical design drawings, load calculations, schematics, and equipment schedules.
- Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, NFPA, HTM, FGI, and local authority standards.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and medical planning teams to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into healthcare environments.
- Conduct value engineering and ensure efficient, sustainable mechanical designs.
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material selections.
- Support project delivery from concept to construction documentation and commissioning.
- Manage client and consultant communication, providing technical guidance and solutions.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD/Revit technicians.
- Participate in QA/QC reviews, risk assessments, and design audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in MEP design, with at least 3 years in healthcare projects.
- Proven experience in HVAC design, plumbing, and medical gas systems for hospitals or clinical facilities.
- Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, HAP, and other design software.
- Strong knowledge of international healthcare design standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, HTM, FGI, etc.).
- Familiarity with local codes and authority requirements (e.g., DHA, SEHA, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in BIM-based design and coordination.
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency standards (LEED, WELL, Estidama).
- Prior experience with design–build or multidisciplinary consulting firms.

Pay: $90,426.80 - $160,901.10 per year
