MEP Procurement Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an MEP Procurement Engineer who will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) materials and subcontracts. They ensure projects remain within budget while meeting technical specifications, handling BOQ reviews, supplier evaluations, and supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Technical Sourcing: Analyzing drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to identify project material requirements.
• Vendor Negotiation: Issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), comparing bids, and negotiating terms with UAE-based and international suppliers.
• Compliance: Ensuring all procured MEP equipment aligns with local authority regulations, as well as green building standards like LEED
• Logistics & Delivery: Coordinating the supply chain to ensure materials arrive on site on schedule without compromising construction sequences.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 5-10+ years of construction or electromechanical contracting experience.
• Key Skills: Familiarity with ERP procurement systems, strong vendor networks across the UAE, and the ability to read complex engineering blueprints.
