MEP Project Manager

Job description

• Review plans and specifications according to the project.
• MEP System has to analyze mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
• Identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects.
• Plan, organize the review and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others.
• Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to MEP services and report to the General Manager on the same.
• Manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.
• Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or general projects to the General Manager.
• Review the Contractor’s installation method statements.
• Monitor and promote health and safety on the site. Record and report any breaches to the General Manager.
• Undertake a prior review of the Contractor’s proposed mechanical system testing & commissioning methods and schedule.
• Managing and reviewing of pre-construction documentation provided by the contractor/s including shop drawings, material/ equipment submittals and samples, quality plans, and method statements.
• Reviewing of construction progress including programme and quality control/auditing. Working with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate programmes of work.
• Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ.

· Monitor & report Project progress throughout the project cycle to ensure on time completion with desired standard of safety.

· Plan & ensure optimum use of resources & monitor use against budget. Implement & enforce work schedule, completing 100% of task on time or earlier.

· Close-out of MEP project documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5yrs successful professional MEP Project Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Thorough understanding of building codes and standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Must possess strong Leadership and Communication Skills

· Proven track record on completing projects.
