MEP Project Manager

We are urgently looking for an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager who is responsible for overseeing the planning, installation, and commissioning of building systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. They coordinate with consultants and contractors, manage site teams, and handle technical approvals, budgeting, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, manage, and monitor the master schedule for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities.
  • Technical Coordination: Review shop drawings, design details, and material specifications, ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and authority requirements.
  • Execution & Site Management: Oversee day-to-day site operations, directing subcontractors and internal teams to ensure quality installation.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, manage material procurement, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other construction disciplines to resolve conflicts (RFIs).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Typically, 4 to 5+ years in MEP construction, with experience in contractor roles preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Immediate Joiner is required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
