MEP QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily QA/QC inspections and site quality activities
• Develop and implement project quality plans in line with specifications and industry standards
• Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings, and timelines
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and third parties for approvals
• Verify material deliveries, test reports, and installation quality against project requirements
• Issue and track NCRs, observations, and corrective actions
• Prepare Method Statements, MIRs, and quality documentation
• Maintain organized quality records and support internal and external audits
• Ensure MEP works are inspected prior to concealment and meet project standards
• Support project close-out with as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag resolution
• Promote safety, environmental compliance, and risk management across projects

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of MEP systems, including:

• HVAC systems – heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
• Plumbing systems – water supply, drainage, sewage, and stormwater
• Fire protection systems – sprinklers, hose reels, wet and dry risers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Several years of QA/QC experience in MEP works, preferably within UAE construction or industrial projects
• Knowledge of local codes, project specifications, and quality control procedures
• Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination skills
• Proficiency in QA/QC documentation tools and MS Office

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
