MEP Quantity Surveyor - GCC Experienced

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation for MEP works.
• Evaluate drawings, specifications, and contracts related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Monitor costs, budgets, and cash flows throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress valuations, interim payments, and final accounts.
• Analyze and manage variations, change orders, and contractual claims.
• Coordinate with consultants, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure scope and cost alignment.
• Conduct site measurements and validate work done for billing.
• Provide detailed cost reports and forecasting to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in the GCC construction sector.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise residential and/or commercial buildings.
• Proficiency in CostX, Candy, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and local market rates.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Contracting background preferred (Consultancy experience not applicable).
