MEP Site Engineer

key Responsibilities1. Technical & Engineering Duties

• Review and understand MEP drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure proper execution of MEP works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, Low Current Systems, etc.).
• Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth progress.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors and subcontractors.
• Assist in resolving site technical issues by liaising with the design/consultant team.

2. Supervision & Inspection

• Inspect daily MEP works for compliance with approved shop drawings and standards.
• Conduct inspections for installations, testing, and commissioning.
• Verify materials delivered to site against approved material submittals.
• Raise inspection requests (IRs) and ensure approvals from consultants/authorities.
• Monitor workmanship, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

3. Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors for timely execution of works.
• Attend site meetings with project managers, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure that MEP works are properly integrated with civil/structural works.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of approved materials.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inspection records, site reports, and daily progress logs.
• Prepare and submit inspection checklists, reports, and test records.
• Ensure proper documentation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Report site progress, delays, and issues to the project manager.

5. Testing & Commissioning

• Supervise and inspect testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems.
• Ensure systems are tested in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Verify performance, safety, and efficiency of installed systems.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Stop unsafe practices and report safety violations immediately.
• Ensure workers follow site safety protocols during MEP works.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
