Role Summary:
-
The MEP Site Senior Engineer will lead the complete delivery of the Distribution Control Center (DCC) under the Sharm DCC.
-
This role requires strong leadership in managing civil and MEP subcontractors, overseeing integration of all technical subsystems, and coordinating with internal departments including design, procurement, logistics, warehouse, contracts, and planning.

The role also includes full commercial responsibility for budgeting, invoicing, contract administration, claims, and change management.
-
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure or utility control room projects and possess excellent project management, technical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Execution:
-
Lead the full lifecycle of the Control Room project from design through commissioning.
-
Ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters.
-
Establish governance, reporting, and escalation protocols.
Civil & MEP Subcontractor Management:
-
Oversee all civil and MEP works (Low voltage, light current, etc.) related to the control room infrastructure.
-
Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.

Review and approve construction drawings, method statements, and work schedules.
-
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
Subsystem Integration & Interface Management:
-
Lead the integration of all subsystems (SCADA, GIS, telecom) within the control room.

Coordinate interfaces with telecom, and cybersecurity systems.

Resolve technical and operational interface issues proactively.
Cross-Functional Coordination:

Collaborate with subcontractor
design teams
to ensure constructability and alignment with project requirements.

Work closely with
procurement
to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials and services.

Coordinate with
logistics and warehouse
teams for inventory management, material handling, and site deliveries.

Align with
planning and scheduling
teams to track milestones and manage dependencies.
Commercial & Contract Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.

Oversee invoicing processes and ensure timely payment cycles.
-
Administer contracts, including scope management, compliance, and documentation.

Manage change orders, claims and ensure alignment with contractual obligations and project goals.

takeholder & Customer Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and other key stakeholders.

Manage expectations, communication, and reporting to internal and external parties.
-
Support regulatory compliance and interface with local authorities as needed.
Risk, Quality & HSE Management:

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
-
Enforce HSE and quality standards across all project activities.
-
Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
-
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering field.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in infrastructure, utility, or control room projects.

Proven experience managing civil and MEP subcontractors and complex system integrations.
-
Demonstrated experience in commercial project management, including budgeting, invoicing, contract administration, and claims handling.
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with local construction regulations and utility standards in Pakistan.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Power BI).
-
Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
Work Environment:

Based in Sharm El sheikh and Cairo.
