MEP Supervisor – Facilities ManagementDuties & Responsibilities
1. Supervision & Team Management
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Civil where applicable).
- Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and provide on-job training to enhance staff skills.
2. Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems (electrical panels, HVAC units, pumps, plumbing networks, firefighting systems, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor BMS (Building Management System) operations and optimize energy usage.
- Attend to breakdowns, analyze root causes, and ensure permanent corrective actions.
3. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all activities comply with local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures on site.
- Maintain up-to-date records of permits, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance activities, manpower allocation, and material usage.
- Update asset history, service reports, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Report any major faults, system inefficiencies, or incidents to the Facilities/Operations Manager.
5. Resource & Inventory Management
- Ensure adequate availability of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Raise material requests and monitor stock levels.
- Control wastage and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
6. Project Support
- Support small-scale installation, refurbishment, and fit-out works.
- Assist in testing & commissioning of new MEP systems.
- Provide technical input for modifications, upgrades, and energy-saving initiatives.
7. Coordination with Specialized Teams
- Coordinate with the Mobile Team and Variation Team to complete assigned works efficiently.
- Monitor progress of variation works, ensuring timely execution, quality standards, and compliance with client requirements.
- Provide technical supervision and escalate any delays or issues to the Facilities/Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Facilities Management, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong background in MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and BMS).
- Proven experience in managing technician teams, subcontractors, and variation works.
- Hands-on knowledge of preventive & corrective maintenance practices.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge of UAE regulations (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, HSE).
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Computer literacy: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and maintenance software.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid UAE Driving License (preferred/required depending on company policy).
- Willingness to work in shifts/on-call for emergency support.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
