MEP Supervisor

Responsibilities :

• Team management: Supervise, guide, and motivate a team of MEP technicians and contractors. Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure staff follow safety protocols.
• Maintenance and repair: Oversee and execute both routine preventive maintenance and reactive repairs for all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, and plumbing.
• Quality and compliance: Ensure all work is completed to high standards and complies with safety regulations, codes, and internal policies. Perform audits and inspections to verify quality.
• Emergency response: Act as a point of contact for emergency situations and coordinate the timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Project support: Assist with the commissioning of new systems, coordinate with project managers, and contribute to the planning and execution of new installations.
• Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, service reports, and inventory. Prepare daily, monthly, and other reports for management.
• Resource management: Ensure the optimal use of manpower, equipment, and materials. Manage spare parts inventory and contribute to procurement efforts.

Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is often preferred, along with relevant certifications.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including their operational sequences.
• Proficiency in managing and leading a technical team.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and prepare detailed reports.
• Familiarity with Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems is often required.
