Job Description – MEP Supervisor (Maintenance)

Position: MEP Supervisor (HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Location: Qatar

Salary Range: QAR 2,500 – QAR 4,000 (based on experience & qualifications)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor with a mechanical or electrical background to lead and manage preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role focuses on Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), rapid breakdown response, asset reliability, and efficient management of tools, spares, and technicians. The supervisor will coordinate closely with the Project Engineer and ensure all activities meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Execution

Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Ensure timely execution of work orders and service requests.

Respond to and manage emergency breakdowns; provide corrective action.

Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with company maintenance standards.

AMCs & Service Delivery

Supervise and monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) to ensure high service standards.

Coordinate third-party service providers for specialized maintenance works.

Maintain service records, warranties, and AMC compliance documentation.

Tools, Inventory & Assets Management

Maintain and track company tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Ensure accountability, safe storage, and timely availability of materials.

Coordinate with procurement for critical spare parts and consumables.

Team Leadership & Training

Supervise, guide, and schedule technicians for daily tasks.

Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Provide on-job training and conduct toolbox talks.

Reporting & Coordination

Submit daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports to the Project Engineer.

Maintain equipment logs, breakdown history, and KPI dashboards.

Coordinate with other departments for maintenance priorities and resources.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce company HSE policies and procedures.

Ensure all maintenance works comply with Qatar regulations and safety standards.

Report incidents and implement corrective measures.

Qualifications & Experience

Mechanical or Electrical background preferred.

ITI / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical qualification).

4–7 years of experience in MEP maintenance (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing).

Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
