Job Summary

The MEP Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within company facilities. The role ensures that all MEP systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Systems

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, HVAC units, ventilation systems, and compressors.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs.

Electrical Systems

• Maintain and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, control panels, and distribution boards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure safe restoration of services.
• Assist in installation and upgrading of electrical equipment.

Plumbing Systems

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, pumps, and water supply systems.
• Inspect pipelines and fixtures for leaks or damages and carry out repairs.
• Ensure proper operation of water distribution and drainage systems.

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all MEP equipment.
• Maintain equipment logs and maintenance records.
• Report major issues to the supervisor for further action.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines during maintenance work.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local safety and building regulations.
• Use tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in MEP maintenance or facility management.
• Experience in HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and plumbing repairs.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Working Conditions

• Work in plant facilities, buildings, or site environments.
• May require working in shifts, emergency repairs, or on-call duties.
• Physical work including lifting equipment and working in confined or elevated spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼2,000.00 - ﷼3,000.00 per month
