MEP Technician

1. Mechanical Systems

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
• Check chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), pumps, and ducts for proper function.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns promptly.

2. Electrical Systems

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels, lighting, and power systems.
• Test electrical circuits, wiring, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Replace defective electrical components such as switches, outlets, fuses, and motors.

3. Plumbing Systems

• Install and repair water supply and drainage systems.
• Inspect and maintain pumps, valves, water heaters, and fixtures.
• Detect and fix leaks or blockages in piping systems.

4. General Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with local building and safety codes.
• Support other technicians and engineers during system commissioning and upgrades.

Qualification & Skills

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience (1-2 years) as an MEP Technician in construction, facilities management, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, tools, and testing instruments.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills
