MEP TECHNICIAN WITH DRIVER'S LICENSE

The MEP Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a facility. This role requires technical expertise, hands-on skills, and problem-solving abilities to ensure all MEP systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform regular checks on HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and other MEP components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, identify faulty components, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Execute repairs or replacements of defective equipment and system components.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, calibrating and adjusting controls to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, panels, and circuit components.
• Install or replace electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping; address leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues.
• Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant safety regulations and building codes.
• Follow safety procedures and precautions during maintenance, repair, and calibration activities.
• Calibrate and adjust MEP equipment to meet performance specifications, maintaining proper records of calibration activities.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare and update documentation for MEP systems, including manuals, operating procedures, and service logs.
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and facility managers to resolve complex technical issues and support project requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
