Merchandiser

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our textile manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing buyer communications, order execution, and coordination between production and related departments. This role requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of textile products and manufacturing processes to ensure smooth execution of orders from inquiry to shipment.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with buyers regarding orders, samples, pricing, and product specifications.
• Prepare and follow up on cost sheets, quotations, and order confirmations.
• Ensure timely development and approval of samples as per buyer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with production, quality, and planning departments for smooth order execution.
• Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time shipment of orders.
• Handle fabric, trims, and accessories sourcing in coordination with procurement team.
• Maintain accurate order records, buyer correspondence, and shipment documentation.
• Resolve day-to-day issues related to orders, quality, or delivery with internal teams and buyers.
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, including labeling, packaging, and inspection standards.
• Job Requirements:
• MBA degree in Textile, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in merchandising within the textile/garments industry.
• Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and production processes.
• Good communication and negotiation skills with international/local buyers.
• Ability to handle multiple orders and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs85,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
