Merchandiser - Al Ain Mills

Job Summary

The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring proper product visibility, stock availability, display standards, and brand presence across assigned retail outlets. The role involves coordinating with store managers, monitoring inventory movement, implementing promotional activities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to support sales growth for the company’s flour and food products.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail outlets, supermarkets, and distributors regularly.
• Ensure proper shelf display, product arrangement, and visibility according to company standards.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid out-of-stock situations.
• Implement promotional campaigns, pricing updates, and branding activities in stores.
• Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) practices and monitor product expiry dates.
• Build and maintain good relationships with store supervisors and purchasing teams.
• Collect market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
• Prepare daily and weekly merchandising reports with photos and sales updates.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding customer requirements and stock movement.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of products at all times.
• Support product launches and promotional events when required.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and reporting procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of merchandising experience in FMCG, preferably flour, food, or retail products.
• UAE market experience is preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple outlets.
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and retail operations.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and reporting tools.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
