Merchant Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities:


  • Acquire new merchants within assigned territories (Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Delta, etc.).

  • Conduct daily field visits to target retailers (electronics, mobile shops, furniture stores, medical centers, auto services, etc.).

  • Present consumer finance and installment solutions to store owners and key decision-makers.

  • Negotiate commission structures and commercial terms.

  • Collect and verify required merchant documentation.

  • Ensure proper contract signing and submission to internal teams.

  • Coordinate merchant activation with the Operations team.

  • Maintain communication with Operations post-activation to ensure smooth onboarding.

  • Gather competitor market insights (ValU, Shahry, Sympl, Souhoola, Contact, etc.).


Requirements:


  • 1+ year of experience in one or more of the following: consumer finance, BNPL, POS / payment solutions or field sales

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with business owners.

  • Good understanding of Egyptian market documentation and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work outdoors and manage a structured field schedule.

  • Target-oriented and performance-driven mindset.

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • Well-presentable with strong communication skills.
