Merchant Acquisition Team Leader – F&B

Cairo, Egypt

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop acquisition teams across assigned regions (Delta, Cairo, Alexandria, Upper Egypt).
  • Monitor and ensure achievement of acquisition targets, KPIs, and acquisition goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key merchants and stakeholders in the F&B/HoReCa industry.
  • Oversee acquisition pipelines and ensure effective follow-up on leads and opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on acquisition performance, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth business operations.
  • Manage conflict effectively and provide solutions that align with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Food & Beverage or FMCG industry, including at least 1–2 years in a Team Leader role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience managing and motivating teams in multiple regions.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of F&B market dynamics and distribution channels.
  • Well-established network within the F&B and HoReCa industries.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
  • Customer-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Demonstrated ability in performance reviews and pipeline oversight, ensuring sales targets, KPIs, and acquisition stages are monitored and achieved.
