Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory

Istanbul, Turkey

As Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye, we have successfully built a track record in M&A Advisory business and closed 23 transactions with c.US$3 bn deal size in Türkiye. In order to continue our growth in this business successfully we are looking for new team members to join our Mergers And Acquisitions Advisory Department. The title of the position(s) will be determined based on the industry experience of the candidate(s) willing to join the team and may vary from Senior Associate, Assistant Vice President to Vice President.


Qualifications

  • Strong academic background including graduate or undergraduate degrees in business administration, engineering and economics complemented with accounting and finance courses,
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A boutique houses, or related experience in transaction services, private equity, corporate finance and business development is a plus,
  • Having strong understanding of M&A deals and trends in the market, strong problem solving skills and business intuition,
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, intellectual curiosity, proactive mind-set and thinking outside of the box,
  • Ability to develop complex financial models applicable to various industries,
  • Excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team and an energetic atmosphere,
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English as well as Turkish, both orally and in writing,
  • No travel restrictions.


Job Description

  • Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research,
  • Performing thorough financial analysis using industry standard and proprietary models and developing creative conclusions and recommendations,
  • Participating and taking active roles in client and investor meetings, directly communicating with clients whenever necessary,
  • Supporting senior team members in origination of new projects and taking active role in business development processes,
  • Cultivating analyst development and leading team members in execution tasks,
  • Leading team members in complex financial valuation model development and maintenance tasks across various industries,
  • Coaching junior team members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills to get results,
  • Preparing presentation materials including but not limited to teaser, information memorandum, management presentation, etc. and participating in deal pitches,
  • Taking responsibility in several projects simultaneously and working effectively as an individual and a team member.
