MERN Stack Developer

MEXA TECHUB (Private) Limited seeks a skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js ) and experience building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable web applications. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
• Optimization & Performance: Ensure responsiveness and high performance of applications across various devices and browsers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and functionality.
• API Development: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to extend application functionality.
• Database Management: Design and manage MongoDB databases for optimized storage and retrieval.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct testing and debugging to ensure seamless user experiences and application stability.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.
• Documentation: Document development processes, changes, and best practices for future reference.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field(optional).
• Experience: 2+ years of experience working with the MERN stack.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React (MERN) and their core principles.
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with MySQL /PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of isomorphic JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token, socket chat system.
• Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common development tools .
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and Github
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on meeting project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and its integration with MERN applications.
